Atlanta Police Involved in Fatal Shooting at Four Seasons Hotel
Early Wednesday morning, Atlanta police officers responded to a call about an armed individual at the Four Seasons hotel in Midtown. The situation quickly escalated and resulted in a fatal shooting.
The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. when officers found the man outside the hotel with a gun. Despite efforts to peacefully resolve the situation, the man refused to drop the weapon and allegedly made a move towards it. This prompted the officers to discharge their firearms, fatally striking the man.
The man’s identity has not been released at this time. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
