Cam Newton Launches Unique Media Studio in South Fulton to Build His Media Empire
Cam Newton, the former Carolina Panthers quarterback, has opened a new production studio in South Fulton, Atlanta, aimed at content creation rather than traditional film and television. The 27,000 square foot space houses all of Newton’s companies, including his production outfit Iconic Saga, and is currently filming projects such as Funky Friday and 4th&1 with Cam Newton. This venture reflects a growing trend among athletes to leverage their celebrity status to create media companies, allowing them to extend their brand beyond sports.
Through this unique studio, Newton is not only showcasing his creativity and passion for media, but also opening doors for other athletes to do the same. The space serves as a platform for projects like Funky Friday, a podcast that discusses music, fashion, and culture, and 4th&1, a sports show that gives Newton a platform to analyze games and share his thoughts on the sport he knows best. But beyond the content, this studio represents a larger movement of athletes taking control of their narratives and building their own empires outside of conventional sports careers.
