GloRilla Targeted by Burglars While Performing at WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis
It was supposed to be a night of celebration as rapper GloRilla performed at the WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis. But while she was away, her Forsyth County, Georgia home was targeted by burglars.
The news broke on Saturday after three intruders were caught on security cameras breaking into her home. The incident has not only highlighted the issue of local crime in Atlanta, but also led to the arrest of the Grammy-nominated artist on Tuesday. However, her lawyer has criticized law enforcement for focusing on the drug charges rather than the violent home invasion.
According to reports, authorities discovered a significant amount of marijuana in her home during the investigation. This resulted in her being charged with felony possession of marijuana and a controlled substance.
The incident has left her family members, who were present at the time of the burglary, traumatized. Woods’ attorney has called for justice to be served, while the investigation into the crime continues.
