Man Arrested for Deadly Shooting Near Downtown Atlanta Greyhound Station Linked to May Incident
Melvin Marshall, 25, was arrested on Tuesday in DeKalb County in connection with the shooting death of Torrance Statham near the Greyhound bus station in downtown Atlanta on May 17. Marshall faces multiple charges, including murder and aggravated assault, after a witness reported seeing him over the victim’s body before fleeing the scene.
The investigation also revealed a separate incident in the same area where a 38-year-old man was stabbed during an attempted robbery the day before Marshall’s arrest.
